Is there something in the water near the Old Swan Pub, with two new arrivals in a month; maybe it should be re-named ‘The Stork’? Caspar David Arthur Ellis was born on 10th May in the early hours of the morning. Planning a home birth was always conditional on the midwife arriving from Buckingham! That she did, in the nick of time.
Caspar’s two older sisters woke up to a wonderful surprise on Saturday morning! Caspar’s position as the youngest resident at Swan Bottom was superseded by the arrival of Thomas Daniel, to proud parents, Phil and Jane Joel, owners of the ‘The Old Swan’ on Sunday 8th June. At least the families are close by for the traditional drink “to wet the baby’s head” (or babies’ heads in this case).
