skydive Quizzical-Lee!
Compiled by Colin Sully

The problem with tackling the letter K is finding enough answers that don’t start with “Kings…”. I found just five.

As usual, the answers all start with the letter K and relate in some way to The Lee parish. Let’s start this month with an easy one… and follow it with a couple of teasers!
  1. Monarchical tree (5 and 3 letters)
  2. Money paid to free the royal house on the hilltop (5, 6)
  3. They are often found in the Shop and on top of the school (7)
  4. The way to the throne? (5, 4)
  5. Regal estate at the Bottom… (5, 4, 4)
  6. … next door to the dog-houses (6)
  7. The road signs around here never show them… but in Europe they would (9)
  8. Where you might find beans, potatoes, carrots, onions, lettuce, etc. (7, 6)
  9. Telephone housing (e.g. at Swan Bottom) (5)
  10. Nursery for tender young things (12)
