Compiled by Colin Sully

I only found a couple of significant Q’s in The Lee and so after a fleeting dalliance with this letter, we then move swiftly on to the R’s.

The answers this month all start with either Q or R and, as always, relate in some way to The Lee parish.

  1. Young girl, crowned in the spring (5, 2, 3, 3 letters)
  2. Regular Newsletter column (9-3)
  3. Red-breasted contributors to the Newsletter (6)
  4. 11/11… or the preceding Sunday (11, 3)
  5. Moves quickly and scores at the cricket club (4)
  6. Roaming free, with the Newsletter (5)
  7. Linking the Bottom to the Clump (3, 4, 4)
  8. Dining around the village (6, 6)
  9. Anderson, Burgess, Coke-Woods, Cornish, Hull, Guidi… (9)
  10. Sounds like a 50s pop singer en route from Kings Ash to Wendover (5,  4)
