Bliss to see some brave snowdrops and cheery crocuses after the end of what has seemed the longest winter ever (certainly the greyest).
As well as the golden yellow of the daffodils in March, you can also see the distinctive colour of the eponymous ‘Yellow Book’ which lists all the gardens open for The National Garden Scheme in bookshops and garden centres. The free County leaflet will be available in garden centres, libraries (if we still have any!) and tourist information offices (ditto). The gardens at Kingswood House and 2 Kingswood Cottages will be open on Sunday 22nd May from 2-6pm.
As usual offers of help for tea rotas and car parking will be gratefully received. Please telephone 837328. All proceeds for charity.
