Put your faith in prayer tree
By Judy Hart

The power of prayer should not be underestimated. In the Bible in James 5:16-18 he declares: “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.” God most definitely listens to prayers, answers prayers and moves in response to prayers.

So we have decided to set up a prayer tree in The Lee. This works by calling one person who starts the ball rolling and the message is passed to everyone on the tree who then pray for whoever has asked to be prayed for.
Sarah Bettis, one of our Sunday School mums, has very kindly agreed to be the lynch pin of the system. So if you would like to be on the tree please contact Sarah at 862963 or thebettisfamily@hotmail.co.uk.

Sarah is also the person to call if there is anyone/thing you would like prayed for. Please use the prayer tree – you may be surprised!!
