fayrfax Here they come a-wassailing
By The Lee Old Church Committee

Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without The Fayrfax Consort making an appearance at The Lee Old Church.

So we are delighted to be able to announce that this very talented troupe, led by David Ireson, Musical Director of St Albans Chamber Opera for the past 25 years, will be back to start the Christmas season off with their distinctive repertoire of festive choral music, amusing readings and traditional carols by candlelight.
As the Consort only does a select number of concerts each year, we’re very fortunate that they’ve agreed to include us in their schedule again. And as if their beautifully-designed programme wasn’t enough to tempt you, we’ll be serving up spicy Christmas punch and homemade mince pies to round the evening off perfectly.

So if you’d like to get your Christmas festivities off on the right note, put Sunday 4th December at 7:30 pm in your diaries right now.

Tickets are just £12.50 each, available in advance from Pam Garner (837501) / Jill Carleton-Smith (837205).
